TECHNICAL DATAT SHEET FOR NON ADHESIVE FABRICS

PTFE (Teflon) impregnated Glass and Kevlar fabrics provide a real solution whenever the remarkable properties of PTFE and the solidity of these fabrics are required.

The exceptional properties of PTFE garantee its successful use in many fields.

As the weft of glass fibre or Kevlar fabrics stabilizes PTFE, this avoids deformation due to compression while at the same time considerably reducing the coefficient of thermal expansion (excellent mechanical properties).

Anti-static possible with speciale manufacturing process.


Thanks to specific processing, attractive properties such as suppleness, high resistance to folding and tear, are obtained. Recommanded for the manufacture of small conveyor belts with high mechanical strength or for conveying on small cylinder diameters.

This products can be manufactured in anti-static on request. 

 

Applications : These fabrics are used becuase of their high flexibility and high mechanical resistance to impact, tear and abrasion. They can support mecanical constraints more higher than fabric threadbare. Because of very small absorbsion, they are recommandated in middle humid.
